This October my team and I participated in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge and won FIRST PLACE! This is basically a global hackathon set on solving challenges in relation to space exploration. The challenge we decided to solve was the Galactic Games: Fun in a Microgravity Environment! challenge.
Our VR solution integrates activities like yoga, bouldering, and mindfulness retreats, along with real-time health tracking integrated with pre-existing health sensors in space. The goal is to create a personalized and immersive experience that supports both physical and mental well-being during long-duration space missions.
As the Game Developer my contributions consisted of all of the gameplay programming, ideation of the game design, as well as leading the hackathon team.

To the right was our Ideation and planning for how we would go about solving the challenge of prolonged exposure to being in a microgravity situation and how to help the astronauts physical and mental health. This in combination with a lot of research that we looked at such as Medical Journals and NASA based research culminated into our final project plans.
